Peace be upon you all,
For those of you who do not understand what imperial globalization is it is not a complex matter to understand. Imperialism is a term similar to colonialism, it refers to building or growing an Empire through territorial conquering, whether economic, cultural or political conquering. Globalization is a recent term that has replaced what used to be the Age of the Empires and imperialism, globalization refers to the transformation of local and communal concepts to worldwide internationally integrated concepts, this too can be political, economic or cultural. For example economically, McDonald's and Nike have both become globalized corporations. Culturally, the phenomenon that started in the West where women give up the family life and children for careers and economic reasons until extremely late ages has spread all over the developed world, and has resulted in less fertility therefore shrinking populations in the developed world. Politically, there is the example of the globalization of laws with the United Nations.
The importance of globalization and its potential as a weapon has been realized by the Western World. With globalization countries in the West such as Britain, the USA and the rest of Europe's powers have attempted to erode Islamic culture and policies (economic, political and judicial) by spreading their own and this is where the term Imperial Globalization spurs.
In Iraq in 2003, the USA allied with local Iraqis who were disloyal to the Saddam regime. During the chaotic American conquer of Baghdad about all the cultural ministries and main museums containing thousands of years of Mesopotamia culture in artifacts, writings, statues and so on were burnt to the ground by 'unknown' arsonists. Priceless cultural pieces showing the great history of the people of Mesopotamia, the cradle of civilization, was erased in a few days... Who did it? The evidence against the Americans is extensive and the Iraqis wouldn't have burnt what was priceless and belonged to them.
